Wake up in the morning to Ian Oogly's Breakfast Bonanza
Ian was first introduced to radio by collecting requests for a local hospital radio
station called Birch Radio in his home town of Rochdale in Greater Manchester
after which he was given his own show on a Wednesday evening.
He then started up a mobile radio roadshow from a converted caravan with his
friend Mark Hesselwood, who was also a presenter at the time.
From there Ian presented on various pop festival radio stations around the
country interviewing the singers as well as producing and presenting his own
show. Ian says "These were exciting times as I was meeting people like Fat and
Frantic, Deacon Blue, Bob Geldoff, Bono and other artists from the world of
music. It was a dream come true for me".

Ian moved over to Spain in June 2007 to start his own business, but fell into the radio scene again. His shows are a
favourite for all. This is largely because he enjoys all types of music form the 60´s straight through to the present day
but remembers the 80´s very well. This has put him in good stead for the radio later in life. I
Ian enjoys chatting and playing music that people can relate to.

ARTISTS - Bananarama. Though I think that Lilly Allen is quite cute!
FOOD - Pasta. Also a good shepherds pie with baked beans
FILMS - Hunt for the Red October / The Breakfast Club / Some Bad Things

TIME OF YEAR - Autumn in the UK, crunchy leaves and lovely colours of the trees in the UK
