Absolutely hooked on the X-factor Pauline also enjoys CSI, Spooks, Wire in the Blood and other police-y type
programmes on TV. Pauline met husband Malcolm Adams in 2002 and they tied the knot in June 2006 – ahh!
That’s lovely! They’ve even been known to gig together. Malcolm on guitar and vocals, and Pauline on bass.
Between 10am and midday, Monday to Friday Pauline brings you up to date with local, provincial, national and
international news. All this combined with local weather, traffic reports and exchange rates interspersed with great
music. Pauline will also keep you in touch with what’s happening on the local music scene. There really are some
great musicians and great gigs to go to around the Costa Blanca.

Pauline McGough
Pauline McGough was born in Slough (nice place to come from not such a nice place
to go to! Sorry all you fellow Sloughians!) and studied performing arts at Tring and
London. Trod the boards up and down the UK in pantomime, summer shows and
musicals such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Godspell. Also
appeared in the Dave Allen Show, The Strangers and The Kelly Montieth Show on TV
amongst others and helped try out the games for the Generation Game with Larry
Grayson and Isla St Clair.
Pauline Planned to spend a year in Spain in 1981 and is still here! Must be good. She
lived and worked in Madrid for 9 years firstly as a croupier and then as an English
teacher but was drawn to the Costa Blanca after visiting her sister Anne who lives here.
So, Pauline packed up her bags, kids, cat and dog (in that order!) that she’d acquired
in Madrid and became a permanent resident on the Costa Blanca in 1990. After
becoming anchor lady on Radio Lifestyle for more years than she can remember she
joined the team of OCI in 2003-2008. Now so happy to be back on the airwaves again
with some of her old buddies from OCI.
